"Our Baby's Naming and Blessing Day"

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (a.k.a. the Mormons), we baptize children at the age of 8 years old. "The Naming and Blessing of a Child" is a non-saving ordinance performed during Sacrament (regular Sunday meeting) for new born babies in fulfillment of the commandment recorded in the Doctrine and Covenant 20:7,

“Every member of the church of Christ having children is to bring them unto the elders before the church, who are to lay their hands upon them in the name of Jesus Christ, and bless them in his name”

Naming & Blessing of a Child
Today, our daughter was presented to our dear Heavenly Father and received her name. She shall be known as Zephrine Person Burgos. Her name meaning is "BREEZE". We chose this name because she is the wind beneath our wings. With her by our side, we know that we can reach our potentials and eternal destiny.
We feel extremely grateful for Heaven's trust and for giving us a "fruit of our love."

Blessing was proclaimed by her father, Michael by inspiration from the Lord together with Bishop Arlan Ong (Angeles 2nd Ward), Dennis Santiago (Uncle), Jeffrey Van Merkesteijn and Niloj Manalo

Heavenly Father, by the power and authority of the Melchizedek Priesthood which we hold, we present to you this child to give her a name and blessing, and her name is Zephrine Person Burgos.
Amen

Motherhood is becoming more real to me.
